From the very beginning, rugby league has been more than just a game for Brenton Smith from Mt Druitt Day Program, it has been a journey of dedication, commitment, and motivation.

For ten years, he has proudly worn the colours of the Quakers Hill Destroyers, turning up every Sunday with the same drive and determination, training hard and giving his best no matter the conditions.

His passion for the sport has shaped not only the way he plays, but also the way he carries himself off the field with discipline, respect, and heart.

Recently, Brenton stepped onto the field in the Battle of the West as a junior player for Penrith, a match that came down to the wire with Parramatta edging out Penrith 24–22.

Now, as he prepares to begin a new chapter with the Minchinbury Jets next season, Brenton carries with him everything that has brought him this far, the years of hard work, the lessons learned, and the unshakable motivation to grow and succeed.

His story is still being written, but one thing is certain: Brenton’s journey in rugby league is powered by heart, dedication, and an unbreakable love for the game.
