Work Experience at Eloma Care!

Building Real Life Skills 

Eloma Care's Work Experience Program offers participants the chance to gain meaningful, hands-on experience that builds confidence and practical skills for the workplace and everyday life.
Currently, we are proud to partner with Woolworths and Vinnes, providing opportunities to learn in a real retail environment, develop teamwork and customer service skills, and experience the satisfaction of contributing to a busy, professional setting. These experiences are designed to empower participants, opening doors to future employment and personal growth!
Each placement is carefully structured to ensure participants feel supported while stepping into new challenges at their own pace.
By creating a safe, inclusive and motivating environment, the program helps participants build independence, confidence and a strong sense of achievement as they work towards their goals.

Locations

The program is currently being delivered at our Sydney NSW Day Programs and expanding rapidly! Each client is supported by experienced staff who focus on encouragement, routine and individual strengths.
Clients who attend the following Day Program can join the Work Experience Program:
  • Bexley
  • Blacktown
  • Campbelltown
  • Fairfield
  • Lakemba
  • Mt Druitt
  • Narellan
  • Penrith

Participants may need to travel to attend work experience, with all transport arranged and supported by Eloma Care.

The previous organisation took good care of Anne Maree, but Eloma Blacktown Day Program is much better! It has a warm atmosphere, and it is more like a family than a centre. I appreciate very much the care that you take of Anne Maree; and also the feedback that you give us.



Brenton is very happy with the Men's program at Eloma. Boys need time to themselves and the free activities are a blesing! Steve is a thoughtful and amazing CEO. Brenton comes home happy and I haven't seen him like this for a while!
