Eloma Care is proud to have opened our first regional Day Program in Goulburn, bringing a vibrant new option for people looking for engaging and supportive daytime activities. The program is led by Gemma, a much-loved member of the local community with extensive experience in the disability sector. Together with her team, Gemma is creating a welcoming space where participants can build skills, connect with others, and enjoy a wide range of experiences. Even better, the program offers FREE activities, making it easier for participants to get involved without extra costs.
The excitement kicked off earlier in the week with Lilly’s pop-up stall at Goulburn Square on Thursday and Friday, where locals stopped by to learn more about the new program. It was fantastic to meet so many people from the community, answer questions, and start sharing what makes Eloma Care’s approach to day programs so unique.
The momentum continued into Saturday with a successful Open Day, welcoming families, carers and community members through the doors to see the space for themselves. Visitors had the chance to meet Gemma and the team, explore the program, and learn about the variety of activities, outings and social opportunities available.
One of the highlights of the day was hearing how excited people were about the FREE activities on offer, from creative programs to community outings and skill-building experiences designed to keep participants active, social and engaged.
We were also incredibly grateful for the support from locals who attended and helped make the day such a success. A special thank you goes to local James Webb, who generously captured the energy and excitement of the event.
The warm welcome we’ve received from the Goulburn community has been amazing and we are so excited about what lies ahead.
