There was plenty to smile about at our SIL home (Supported Independent Living) as Toby, Mike, Carson, and their loved ones came together for the home's very first Family BBQ!
The afternoon was all about bringing people together in a welcoming environment, with families enjoying quality time and sharing stories. Over delicious food and great conversation, the gathering provided a wonderful opportunity to strengthen the connections that make Geoff Wolter House feel like home.
The clients were actively involved throughout the day, helping prepare the BBQ and welcoming their loved ones into their home. From warm hugs to heartfelt conversations, the day was filled with genuine moments of joy and belonging.
One of the highlights was seeing the clients proudly show their families the life they've built at Geoff Wolter House. The relaxed atmosphere made everyone feel welcome and reminded us just how important these opportunities are for maintaining strong family relationships and fostering a true sense of community. Family BBQs are about creating meaningful experiences, celebrating relationships, and making memories that last long after the BBQ is over. A big thank you to all the families who joined us.
