On the 23rd of October 2026, Eloma Care celebrated a very special occasion with our first-ever Queensland Gala Ball at the luxurious Emporium Hotel in South Bank, Brisbane!
With a Great Gatsby theme setting the scene, 150 clients, families, carers and staff stepped back into the Roaring Twenties for an evening of glitz, glamour and celebration. From sparkling dresses to sharp suits, everyone arrived dressed to impress and ready for a memorable night!
Guests enjoyed a delicious three-course meal, a spectacular Gatsby-inspired dance performance, the chance to capture photos with our special Gatsby performers and, of course, plenty of dancing throughout the evening.
But beyond the glamour and entertainment, it was the moments shared throughout the night that made the occasion truly special.
One of the most heartwarming highlights was hearing the feedback from our clients, families and carers. For some of our clients, it was their very first opportunity to attend a Gala Ball, making the experience even more meaningful. Seeing their excitement, sharing in their happiness and knowing they were making memories to treasure for years to come was a wonderful reminder of what these special occasions are all about.
Just like our annual NSW Gala Ball, our Queensland Gala Ball is completely free for everyone attending. At Eloma Care, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to dress up, enjoy a special evening and celebrate alongside the people who matter most, without the added financial pressure. Making these experiences accessible means more of our clients, families and carers can come together and enjoy a night to remember.
Hosting our first Queensland Gala Ball also marked an exciting milestone for Eloma Care and our growing Queensland community.
